Most organisations begin security validation as a project: a penetration test before a milestone, a fuzzing run when someone has capacity. This session covers the transition from that state to a programme — repeatable, scheduled and evidenced.
What the session covers
- Deciding validation scope from TARA output rather than from tooling availability
- Instrumenting targets so a fault is detected rather than merely survived
- Triage and de-duplication when a campaign produces hundreds of findings
- Integrating validation gates into an existing CI and release process
- Presenting validation evidence in a type-approval assessment
The exercises demonstrated are drawn from the AutoSec Fuzz Testing Lab and can be repeated by participants enrolled on the corresponding program.
